Course Objective:
Students will learn the basics of residential oil and gas heating and oil and gas burner technology, installation, service, repair, and maintenance.
The program can be completed in 20 weeks. Days/Evening
Upon completion of this program, you will be prepared to:
- Sit for the Massachusetts Oil Burner License Exam
- Work on residential oil and gas heating systems
- Install, service, repair, and maintain oil and gas burners
- Apply combustion principles and perform flue gas analysis
- Learn basic electrical troubleshooting and controls
- Learn beating systems operation
- Preventive maintenance and system tune-ups
- Interpret Massachusetts oil burner codes and licensing requirements
Schedule: Classes meet twice a week. Days/Evening
Classes are offered at our Oxford, MA location.
